About Us
Making Nature Accessible
If we were to sum up All Together Wild in three words, they would be:
INCLUSIVE, ACCESSIBLE, AWARENESS
We want to raise your awareness of the beauty and intricacy of nature and its benefits on you, and give you opportunities to discover the outdoors for yourself, whoever you are and whatever your circumstances.
All Together Wild exists to encourage you to get outdoors and into nature, to grab onto the health and wellbeing benefits of being outdoors, whatever your age, size, abilities, or where you live.
The fabulous thing about nature is that it doesn't care about any of that - you can be completely, totally and wildly just yourself.
By being outdoors and noticing what's around you, we raise awareness of the importance of our wildlife, flora and fauna. By caring about our environment we care about protecting it.
Some of us are lucky enough to have been brought up to get out and play, camp, garden, holiday in the countryside or just sit on the balcony and watch the sea coming and going.
But not everyone has that chance. Maybe you live in a city centre, maybe you have difficulties getting about.
Over the next few years All Together Wild will grow to give as many people as possible opportunities to experience nature with all of its benefits.
Nature has been proven to calm our nervous systems, encourage our creativity and make us happier.
How will you experience Nature? What one new thing can you try?

Our Story

We are Beverley and David, and we live in rural North Pennines.
We have 'normal' day jobs, but we are able to sit on our terrace and look out at the wide-open moors.
We are incredibly lucky.
We realise that not everyone is as lucky, and it has been a journey for us to get here.
David didn't do his first 'hike' until he was in his 30s. We have disability, neurodiversity and accessibility challenges in the family, so we are well aware of some of the difficulties people have in getting out.
We're 'normal' people, and not superfit adventure junkies, and we won't pretend to be. You can be you and still connect with the outdoors.
We are enthusiastic and passionate about growing All Together Wild over the next few years to help you get in touch with Nature - be that exploring your city or your tiny garden, or even just watching the video walks on this website. There is evidence that watching nature, even if you're not in it, can be beneficial.
Beverley is a qualified life coach and mindfulness teacher, and is an outdoor enthusiast who is happiest when on top of a hill. She is currently working towards a qualification in Shinrin Yoku (forest bathing) and will be adding walk leadership credentials to supplement her experience.
David is the IT guru, pulling together the videos and photos, and being the model in many of the images and films you will see on this website and on social media!
