About the event

Forest Bathing (or Shinrin-yoku in Japanese) is a slow and gentle walk in nature, where we use our senses to notice our environment and our place in it.

Being in nature, and specifically with trees, has been proven to have a myriad of health benefits. It can lower blood pressure, boost our immune system, help with anxiety and depression, increase our creativity and make us more generous.

This is the beginning of a six week programme, with each forest bathing walk different from the next. You're welcome to one or all of them.

I (Beverley) am currently studying for my Forest Bathing Practitioner qualification with Nature and Therapy UK.
